We are dedicated to providing heart-centered, trauma informed, gentle care with on-call services, personalized support, and research-based practices.

Why Doula Services For All ?
Earthside was founded with a fiery passion for accessibility, truly safe spaces, and a whole lot of love for humans. We believe that the right mental and physical support is of immeasurable importance for all birthing people and the community as a whole. Feeling seen, heard, safe, and held during this time is for everyone.
We offer a sliding scale fee structure for all services, including certified doula support. This means that our fees are flexible and can be adjusted based on your intimate situation. Those in marginalized groups are automatically given a lesser fee. If you feel that the support of Earthside's trained doulas is what is best for your needs, you will not be turned away due to a lack of financial resources.

Our Doula Services
We offer Birth Doula services for all births, whether you are planning to bring your baby earthside at home, hospital, or birth center—medicated, un-medicated, or cesarean birth. We are prepared and excited to support you in your experience.
We currently offer overnight Postpartum Doula care. This service is tailored to the type of support you need with your newborn at home. From labor and delivery to settling in at home, we’re with you.
Placenta encapsulation is offered as a stand-alone service or can be bundled with another service. This service will be discussed in-depth between you and your encapsulation specialist.
Doula Or Midwife?
As you embark on this beautiful journey, let's unravel the roles of midwives and doulas in the gentlest way possible.
Midwives? They're your healthcare protectors, ensuring the well-being of both you and your little one. They're like the steady lighthouse guiding your ship through the waves.
Doulas? They're your emotional anchors, here to soothe your soul. Doulas won't delve into the medical stuff, but they'll cradle your heart with care, offering comfort and unwavering support in your birth plan.
Remember, you have choices in this voyage. Some choose both—a midwife for the medical knowledge and a doula for the emotional embrace. It's all about what feels like a warm, snug blanket for your journey.
